The Future of Skills Initiative is a European non-profit founded to change that. We build what fair, accessible skill verification looks like. Starting in open source, where the gap between the skills the industry demands and the way those skills are verified is widest. With the community, not just for it.
What we believe
- Skill verification should be independent of the organisations that govern the technology.
- Access should not depend on where you live or what you can afford.
- The exam should verify your work, not surveil your face.
- Humans should certify humans.
- If the skill is hands-on, the proof should be too.
- Proof of skill should grow with you, not expire and restart.
